As I progress through ELU, I'm learning so many applicable tools and methods that are giving me confidence in my role. I like how each step builds on another and you can see the results instantly. The combination of the self-paced learning and live weekly coaching sessions really cement my understanding and provide an opportunity to reflect on my progress from the week before, while also hearing others share their experiences using empowering leadership.

This training has helped me put language and framework to a way of working that until now has been intuitive to me but not so conscious. As a result, I have experienced more safety at work, and can humbly say that my leadership and clinical skills
have grown for the better. I feel more aligned and balanced in my sense of direction and purpose.

Frequently asked questions
How does ELU fit with my role?
This training is suited to anyone in our team whether you have ‘leader’ in your title or not — it's another tool in your kit, whatever role you have in the team.
Whether you're the CEO, part of our admin team, a behaviour support practitioner just getting started, or a seasoned clinician.
The EL model aligns and compliments our values of person centred, strengths approach that we already use in our work with families and clients. You will be able to integrate this easily into your daily routines within your current and any future work scope.

What will coaching look like?
Coaching sessions will be open and respectful. During each session we'll apply the ELU learning content to questions and problems that relate to our zones. We'll try to connect the dots between tools, principles and scope of our work.
When will coaching sessions take place?
Weekly on Monday 9-10am EST and Wednesday 9-10am EST. Choose which day you'll participate and join for nine sessions.
How long will it take to complete ELU?
Learning is self paced and coaching sessions are available on a weekly basis. How quickly you do this course is up to you.
The recommended pace is to work trough the assignments and attend weekly coaching, which should take you approximately 3 months to complete.
