Participating in the Adult Intellectual Disability Mental Health ECHO has given some really great insight into the world of disability and mental health. The program is facilitated by a multidisciplinary team, all who offer their recommendations for each case that is presented and a lot of these recommendations have been relevant to my own caseload. It has been great to learn about the different avenues we can recommend to our clients and how and where to advocate for them when needed.

I really enjoyed collaborating with the attending practitioners and multidisciplinary team at ECHO on one of my de-identified clients. In addition. it was great to learn how to identify signs that our clients may have a mental illness and where our clients can go to get a comprehensive clinical assessment.
