What our team is saying

  • Thanks Steve for a wonderful day, and even better to connect with other pracs and learn and engage together :)
  • What a fantastic day it was. I left so full of gratitude to be working with such a positive and energetic group of people :)
  • Had a fabulous day with you all. I never enjoy training but I had a great day. Thanks Steve.
  • Was so lovely getting to meet you all and getting to know the AC ways! Feels like I've found my people :)
  • We started off with a refresher in trauma informed care, which helped us think about the bigger trauma picture when supporting our clients. Steve has a great way of demonstrating how to de-escalate risk by the very nature of your relationship with your client. Steve's demonstrations showed that remaining calm, empathetic and authentic can more often than not de-escalate risk. I really appreciated this and it gave me more confidence in practice as I felt I was on the right track!
  • The training was great because it mixed trauma informed strategies (online learning component) with practical evasion training (face to face component). Steve really showed the potential of the strategies in use and we all had a chance to practice them.
  • Thank you Steve for making this training day fun and engaging! It was a real pleasure to meet you and everyone in the flesh, and share some of our experiences and so many giggles. It was definitely worth the long drive.

I'm not an Ability Consultants practitioner but I'd like to learn more about Positive Behaviour Support — any tips?

Absolutely. We recommend starting with our free Functions and Formulations series, followed by Multi-Element Interventions. You can find them in our Summit bundle.
