Welcome to Unit 3 of the Multi-Elements Interventions course. Steve and I will be guiding you through some key ideas and concepts relating to devising ethical and respectful reactive/response strategies. We'll explore two documented approaches to reactive/response strategies, escalation cycles and individual behaviour responses.

This course offers an in-depth look reactive strategies, building upon Unit 2: Proactive Strategies.
Chapter 1: Introduction to Reactive Strategies (1 hour, 12 minutes)

Chapter 3: Individualised Response Reactive Strategies (1 hour, 19 minutes)

Is this a free course and who can complete this course?

Our Multi-Element Interventions series is FREE. Anyone can enrol in our Multi-Element Interventions courses: enrol and start anytime, from anywhere in the world. 

Are there any course prerequisities?

We highly recommend completing our Functions and Formulations series first, you can find it here. Throughout our Multi-Element Interventions series, we refer to our Functions and Formulations training course many times, given the importance of understanding the function of a behaviour before identifying strategies.

Our Functions and Formulations series and is designed specifically for Positive Behaviour Support practitioners. This series also assists other members of a person's support team, by highlighting the importance of understanding behaviours of concern and offering alternative ways to view these behaviours.

Do I need to complete this series in order?

We highly recommend that you complete this training series i.e. Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3, Unit 4. 
If you're not ready to complete the whole course and you're interested in a specific lesson, you can jump straight to that lesson. 

I've finished the course but I'm not able to obtain my certificate. 

All course items need to be marked as completed, with a tick  . If some items have a grey or red dot, go back and check you have completed the item. If the item is "transcript" or "resources", click on the item and it will turn into a tick.
